Julia Kant is an internationally experienced lawyer. She is a fully qualified German lawyer and also holds a law degree from the Netherlands. She specialized in European law and international commercial and corporate law.
She completed one module of her Master’s degree at the German-Dutch Chamber of Commerce in The Hague. She then worked in Brussels on a project for the European Commission before returning to Göttingen to train as a lawyer. During this time, she worked in the legal department of a listed company.
During her legal clerkship, she increasingly shifted her legal focus to criminal law and completed her elective clerkship at a well-known criminal law firm in Göttingen. After completing her second state examination, she worked at the Hamburg office of an internationally renowned commercial law firm, primarily in the areas of dispute resolution, commercial criminal law and global transaction business. She then worked for a well-known criminal law firm in Göttingen before founding Kant Legal in 2025.
She speaks German, English, French and Dutch.
